WHAT IS MEDITATION THERAPY?

MT is the intentional utilization of meditative states for the purpose of creating new neural connections, in alignment with a client’s needs and desires. It draws from a diverse range of psychology, personal development & therapeutic mindfulness practices and it’s goal is empowering you (the client) to your ability to create life! It begins with education on the brain, its connection to the electromagnetic field and how that field influences our physical bodies and the world around us. The practice is offered through interpersonal support (The client-therapist relationship) and self-lead embodiment and mindfulness practices (Take-home tools for independent, balanced living).

WHAT REALLY IS MEDITATION? WHY IS IT HELPFUL?

In today’s world, our “go!go!go!” mentality, relentless media exposure and fight-or-flight addictions, rob us of the ability to focus, be still and connect with our true selves. Meditation, mindfulness & present awareness practices are the key to receptive brainwave states. These brainwave states are the key to your subconscious mind, lasting transformation & wellbeing from the inside, out.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Your whole life can shift in a session. That said, committing to working with a MT practitioner for 3-6 months on a weekly to bi-monthly basis is recommended. As one facet of your life becomes whole and integrated, other imbalances become apparent and regular session will enable you to address a broad spectrum of issues. This work happens on such a deep level, it can take some time to notice how dynamically things have shifted. So, it’s important to have a witness mirror this as you discover how it all works and refine the tools you’ll use to support yourself and others in your life.
