When Arthur was three years old, his mother was diagnosed with Lymphoma and introduced to Transcendental Meditation (TM) as a tool for healing. By five, Arthur and his family were living part of the year in the Ayurvedic, TM community of Fairfield, Iowa, where his mother received treatment. Meditation became their way of life and Arthur’s mother healed through the practice.
At 15, Arthur faced his own health crisis when diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. After two years of working with top medical experts, studying alternative therapies and developing his own philosophy on well-being, he experienced a spontaneous healing that opened his world.
His fascination with the ability to author our own realities was born and so he went on to explore the power of personal narrative, at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he worked in entertainment for 7 years, achieving early success producing and developing feature films and network television (E!, NBCuniversal)
In 2014 he left entertainment to serve as a Consulting Director for the Human Rights Foundation and study Positive Psychology, Gestalt Psychology & Meditation therapies at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California (2014) . By 2016 Arthur had received his Certificate in Positive Psychology (CiPP) from the Whole Being Institute and began his career in personal development as a coach. In 2017 he completed his RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Teacher certification and created what he now calls Meditation Therapy.
Today he lives and works in Portland, OR as a Coach, Counselor, Real estate entrepreneur & business owner. He will complete his National Guild of Hypnotists, Consulting Hypnotherapist (CH) certification with the Northwest Hypnosis Institute in March of 2020.
